They have a son Adheep who was born on June 11, 2005. Simran finished her B.Com and was doing modeling simultaneously in Mumbai. After some time she entered into the film industry. Simran is an excellent dancer and is trained in Bharathnatyam and Salsa.
Simran has acted in many of the Tamil movies like V.I.P (1997), Natpukaga (1998), Aval Varuvala (1998) and Kannethirae Thondrinaal (1998) with leading actors Prabhu Deva, Sarath Kumar, Ajith Kumar and Prasanth ,then later she was renowned as Queen of Kollywood.
Simran played different characters in many of the Telugu movies like Daddy opposite to Chiranjeevi, Samarasimha Reddy, Seema Simham and Narasimha Naidu opposite Balakrishna and Bava Nachadu opposite to Nagarjuna and Yuvaraju opposite Mahesh Babu.
